This website has been designed to meet the W3C standards and is browser compatible with Internet Explorer 7 and FireFox 2. Accessibility is one of the key issues in web design and because of this reason, this website has been tested and validated by bobby as being triple A or 'AAA' certified which is the highest level currently achievable.
The developer
I am Jose Linares and based in Gibraltar. I am a student Computing Engineer who has studied for 6 years part time and reaching towards the end of a Bachelors of Engineering Honours degree with The Open University. During my studies with the OU, I have studied subjects in the area of software development, systems development, database development, information technology (IT), mathematics and web applications development. I currently hold three Open University certificates one of which is the Certificate in Web Applications Development awarded by The Open University which I finalised it in the summer of 2006. Up to now, I have managed to complete 395 CATS (Credit Accumulation and Transfer Scheme) points (a full degree with honours is 360 CATS points) worth of study in level 1, 2 and 3 course studies.
Now I am a student at a UK University and continuing as a full time computing student. Hopefully I will continue with the OU BEng after finishing my BSc degree.
My experience has been related to working with other web companies based in Gibraltar offering freelance services when required. Hence, my portfolio does not reflect entirely on other websites which I have built or maintained.
